Abe responds to Amaechi

Senator Magnus Abe says he will continue to refer to the Transportation Minister, Chibuike Amaechi as his leader.

His comment comes 24 hours after Amaechi Disowned Abe saying he is not his Leader.

Abe, who represents Rivers South East at the National Assembly
stated this during an interactive forum with about twenty-six organizations in the old Port Harcourt Township Area.

He said recognizing Amaechi as the APC leader in Rivers state will give a signal to supporters of Senator Abe that

"no matter how aggrieved they are,  they should be ready to work with the leader of the party whenever he decides that justice must reign."

He urged members of the party to refrain from abusing the Minister but continue to show respect to him.

The federal lawmaker also responded to statements made by Amaechi that he is being sponsored by Governor Nyesom Wike.

He reminded Amaechi that prior to his emergence as the governor of Rivers State, he gave him the total support despite all odds.

He said nobody can deny him the right of aspiring to be the next governor of the State.

Senator Abe also denied reports that he is benefiting from the ongoing Ogoni clean up.
